The demonstration flyght are an excellent gift and experience for all those interested in flying who do not possess their own pilot licence, but would like to fly in an aircraft . ½ hour flight:

Airfield Zbilidy - Reservoir Hubenov ( not trought ower – it is prohibed)- round about Jihlava, approach to Jihlava Airport and take not full landing, take-off climb to flight level – Aifield Zbilidy.

1 hour flight:

Airfield Zbilidy - round about Havlíčkův Brod - Castle Lipnice - Humpolec – Airfield Zbilidy.

1 hour flight and longer flights can be done in your own instructions and this flights can start in Jihlava city airport, Havlíčkův Brod city airport, Musil airfield ( South suburb of the city Jihlava and Jiřičky airfield near of Humpolec, Částkovice near of Pelhřimov.

Three ultralight high-wing airplane, one equipped with a reliable hight performed certify aircraft engine Rotax 912 S and ROTAX 912 ULS. The cruising speed 110-150 and 140-220km/h. Comfort during flight is guaranteed thanks to the ample and see eliminated cockpit. The airplane features excellent flight STOL characteristics and can take-off and land anywhere where there is normal grass field when necessary . In case Yetti J-03. Sierra is excelent plane for traveling.

Airplane Rental

Aerodynamically controlled microlight planes (ULLs) are becoming more and more popular these days. In order to apply for this type of training, you have to be at least 15 years old and meet prescribed medical requirements. Training is performed on Yetti J-03 who was produce as training school plane and this reliable aircraft is made in the Czech Republic. It is a total of 20 flight hours and 45 theory hours out of which 16 hours (aerodynamics and fight rules) must be completed before the start of practical training. When the training is accomplished and final exams successfully passed, you obtain a ULL pilot license from the Ultralight Aircraft Association of the Czech Republic. This license allows you to fly ultralight aircraft (ULLs) which are, according to the flight law, defined as "Sport Flying Devices“ (SLZs). You can fly these aircraft for your ejoy, turistic flying, crosscantry flying VFR and your personely transport in company activities only( it is in generall faster than use a car and you save money and time).

It is not possible to use them for commercial purposes, as sightseening flights, towing banners/transparents, flying works,atc..

It is true… nowadays ultralights are developed in best quality, higher speed, newest technology are used, then average generaly aviation aircrafts as Cessna types 150- 172, Zlin types 42-143, Piper CUB, tri pacer and next types. - The ULL training is easier and faster. It takes less flight hours. The theoretical and practical final exams are easier as well.

- Microlight flying is much cheaper (lower fuel consumption, lower price of the aircraft).

- There are more airports for microlights in the country. You can even have do your own „near-home airport“, supposing it meets certain requirements

- Some new types of ULLs fly faster (even 210 km/h) than „adult“ sport aircraft (often 160-200 km/h).“

In accordance with aeronautical law ULA flying is defined as flying with "Sport Flying Devices". Abbreviation SLZ (SFD) is universal for any microlights (including parachutes, rogallos, gliders, etc.)

Questions and Answers:

Is flying safe?

After you compare the number of airplane accidents and road accidents, it's easy to say which is safer. Great majority of air accidents are caused by breaking the flight rules. If you fly according to the rules the probability of having an accident is very small.

Will I be able to take my friends for a ride after I get the license?

Yes, after acquiring the ultralight pilot's license and after your 50 hour solo flying you have the right to fly with other people on board.

How healthy I must be to pass the medical exam?

The medical exam for ultralight pilot's license is not rigorous and most of the usual health issues (like wearing eyeglasses or high blood pressure) are not an obstacle. Almost every middle-aged or younger person passes the exam.

“Yes, you can, but... not everywhere and sametime a little stronger conditions than with a plane general aviation. To some countries you may not fly at all (Switzerland witout transponder), to some others with a PPL licence only mainly for flying trouht Alps (Austria). If you want to fly to Germany, you are free; to Slovak Republic you can go without any problems..... Nowadays there are better rules You can fly witout fly plan at G and E class.
